     About

United-America.Org is an organisation dedicated to the peaceful constitutional reform of the United States of America.

The Declaration of Independence of 1776 is one of the greatest documents every forged in human history. It represented for the first time, the vision of forming a nation under the respect of essential human values, rather than the power of a crown or entrenched ruling class.
However, the Constitution, or more correctly the Articles of Confederation did not take effect until March 4, 1789, some twelve (12) years after the Declaration of Independence. Even so, many people still consider the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation as one and the same.

Seeking common ground in a common vision

The Articles of Confederation (Constitution) have been amended now twenty three times, creating a collected foundation that remains presently the supreme law of the United States of America.

This at a time when signs and examples of our nation failing are evident in all branches and levels of government, it remains the belief of many that these Articles of Confederation and amendments somehow represent a sacred collective work, that may not be altered in anyway.

Clearly this was never the intention of the founding fathers, for in the Declaraton of Independence, they stated clearly the conditions by which government must be reformed. To any rational and reasonable person, it is clear that what mattered most and what has always mattered is that the United States seek to remain true to the founding values and aspirations of the founders, not to become imprisoned in orthodoxy and therefore recreat the very conditions of injustice to which the Declaration itself sought to break.

It is the humble hope then of the authors of the reformed Constitution that the document be presented to the people, to be debated, signed and ratified as a means of not usurping the honor, sovereignty or intentions of this great land, but to ensure their continued preservation through the good governance and prosperity of its citizens.
